POLICIES
BELOW ARE THE POLICIES THAT HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY WRITTEN AND PLACED TO PROTECT YOU ("THE CLIENT/CUSTOMER") AND MYSELF ("K’MAE DESIGN STUDIO LLC"). IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU VIEW THESE POLICIES PRIOR TO PURCHASING OR CONTACTING ME FOR PROJECTS.

PAYMENTS + PRICING
All pricing at K’Mae Design Studio LLC is subject to change at any time and becomes effective upon posting to this site. If there has been an agreed pricing between K'Mae Design Studio LLC [The Designer] and the client before changes have been made, it will remain valid until that project is complete.
All projects require a non-refundable 50% deposit BEFORE work will begin.
For projects that you opt for a payment plan, the first payment is due upon booking. This payment is a 50% deposit and is non-refundable. The payments will be split into 3 payments due every 2 weeks until full payment is made (this payment plan can be adjusted based on the type of project you book). Any late payment will be subject to a late fee each time the payment is late, along with the payment you were scheduled for.
Full payment or deposits must be paid within 24 hours of receipt of invoice or the project is subject to cancellation. All remaining unpaid balances will be billed based around payment plan schedule. Once the final payment is made, the project will be finalized and all files will be sent to you.

Currently, payments are all made via invoice. No project will begin until payment has been 100% cleared.

For all digital products, brand strategy sessions, and photography packages: payment is required upfront and in full.​

*If you would like images incorporated into your design, you must provide high quality, professional images! Please be advised: no screenshots, pixelated, blurry, or iPhone photos will be accepted*

REFUNDS + CANCELLATIONS
K’Mae Design Studio LLC does not provide refunds for any services unless agreed upon.
​
Having buyers remorse, not being satisfied with the work produced, or wanting to work with another company instead of K'Mae Design Studio LLC is not a suitable means for a refund. Once payment has been made, including any deposits, the sale is final.
It is advised that you give your project sufficient time for completion for these reasons: revisions may be needed, there may be an influx in the orders received or your project may take slightly longer than expected. I provide a reasonable timeframe for each project, however, there may be circumstances where additional time may be needed for the completion of your project. If for any reason you want to cancel a service already rendered, provided, or paid for, that is up to your discretion.​ However, due to the work produced or in queue, payments already received by K’Mae Design Studio LLC will not be refunded in order to offset the loss of business and to be compensated for time invested. If partial work has already been received by the client and they choose to cancel, the partial or full payment that has been paid will not be refunded. Ownership of all artwork, layouts and development and any other form of work produced for the client by K'Mae Design studio LLC, will remain the property (IP/intellectual property) of K’Mae Design Studio LLC and remaining work will not be sent to the client for their ownership. If the project is in its final stage, ownership will be transferred to client after full payment is received.

If you do not like the work produced, a refund will still not be issued, but revisions can be made. (please see revisions policy below).

The only reason a refunded will be issued is in the event K’Mae Design Studio LLC is unable to complete the project for personal reasons or illness.

No refunds or exchanges for digital products/instant downloads. All sales are final and you agree to this at time of checkout.
Refunds are not applicable for digital products under any circumstance.

DRAFTS
Draft's of ANY kind are for the purpose of approval only. They may not be copied, manipulated, or distributed to any other person or company other than those directly involved with the project without prior permission from [The Designer]. All drafts works are the property (IP/intellectual property) of K’Mae Design Studio LLC.

REVISIONS
For all designs proofed by K’Mae Design Studio LLC, there is a two (2) revision limit. After that, all additional revisions will incur a $75 fee per revision, depending on the project. For larger scale projects like web design, the number of revisions is limited to 2 of just the homepage (no other pages). For Instagram flyers or other social media assets you are entitled to two revisions. Any revision thereafter is $25 each revision. Additional revisions will incur an additional fee. This is to ensure a steady work flow so your project can be completed in a reasonable time frame.

For all designs proofed and sent to the client for approval and/or revision request, remain the sole intellectual property of K'Mae Design Studio LLC until full payment is made in full and cleared. Ownership will be transferred to client after full payment is received/cleared.

DESIGN CONTENT
Although we will meet for a 1:1 mini brand strategy workshop and I will provide you with creative visual direction and brand inspiration, it is important to have some sort of vision for your business so it can be relayed to me. After all this is your brand and I want to convey your vision in a way that suits your brand all while ensuring strategic design choices are made. Before our first strategy session, an intake questionnaire will be sent to you via email where you will be able to provide this insight. Please note you will be required to gather some sort of inspiration via a shared Pinterest Board.
If you would like for me to freestyle my ideas for your project, please be mindful that our creative visions may not match. This can lead to more revisions than needed. It is best to at least have a basic form of concept I can gear from for the project you are purchasing.
Clients are required to submit all HIGH QUALITY, professional photos. Pixelated photos are not acceptable! Please refrain from submitting any dull phone images, screenshots or low quality photos.
Clients are required to submit all verbiage (text) they need for their project (ex: web design, social media content, business card design, etc.) Copy writing is not included. Please make sure all submitted content is spell checked and not subject to copyright. This is not my job to review and spell check and whatever copy that is provided from you will be translated directly onto your branding collateral.
In some instances, we may revise or amend submitted content if deemed necessary for the the project. Any revisions on our end will be communicated first.

TIMEFRAMES
It is extremely important to complete projects in a timely manner. However, due to the uniqueness of each project and client, more time may be needed for satisfied completion. Please be advised that all time frames relate to business days only. During peak/busy times, there may be an extension in the design timeframe of 1-3 business days. Weekends and Holidays are not included in the time frame of any project. Timeframe will be established at time of consult based upon your design needs, but projects typically take 3-12 weeks depending on the project booked.

FEEDBACK
I allow up to 3 days for you to give your feedback or revision request on the project materials that I create or to return any questionnaires. If I do not hear back from you within those 3 days, a $75 late fee will be added to your final invoice account for the project you have scheduled. If I do not hear back from you within a week (7 days) or more, your project will be paused until you respond and you will then incur a $100 late fee which will be added to your final invoice.
If delayed responses are continuously a problem, I reserve the right to terminate your project without any refund and will deny any future chances of you working with me again. I take my business very seriously and if you're investing in your brand, it is expected you take your own business just as seriously and I will not nag you for responses!
I try to avoid charging a late fee as much as possible, BUT sometimes it is necessary to keep your project on track in order to meet deadlines. I try my best to be as transparent as possible and to communicate with you at each step of your project, I understand we are human and if there is an emergency that prevents you from being able to respond within those 3 days, please communicate ahead of time as unforeseen circumstances are understandable!

CONTENT DELIVERY FILES/POLICY
All design only projects are sent to you ("The Client/Customer") in the form of email from me ("K’Mae Design Studio LLC").
Logo design files will always be sent in JPG, PNG, PDF and .AI format. There is no additional charge for the vector format as this is an essential file format that can be scaled to any size. Other digital projects (flyers, business cards, website graphics, etc) are sent in JPG or PNG format. If a PDF file is needed, we will need to be contacted to supply that for you.
All core PSD or .AI files remain the property (IP/intellectual property) of K’Mae Design Studio LLC, even if a copy has been supplied to you. Once a project has been finalized and the files have been delivered to you, (with the exception of core files in which K'Mae Design Studio LLC reserves the rights to) you own the rights to what you have purchased. Copyrighting and/or trademarking your logo is solely up to you and not the responsibility of K’Mae Design Studio LLC.

Once completed, you (the client) also give K’Mae Design Studio LLC the right to use any work produced by K'Mae Design Studio LLC for portfolio and/or marketing purposes unless specifically agreed upon otherwise.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS
All sales are final due to the nature of the product! No refunds or exchanges for any digital products.
Once you checkout, you agree to the purchase and agree and are aware all sales are final and no refunds will be made for any digital products.

All digital products must be paid for in full, no payment plans are accepted.
​
All digital downloads will be available immediately after purchasing.
An email with a link to access your downloads will also be sent to the email provided during checkout. Please be sure you have access to the email provided as transfer to another email of digital products will not be available.

You agree you will not share your digital download with anyone.
​

PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY
All images remain the sole intellectual property/copy right of K'Mae Design Studio LLC. No RAW images will be delivered. Full payment will be required upfront and in full at time of booking. All clients will be required to sign a contract/service agreement. Not all images captured during the shoot will be delivered. That means any images not in focus, not of quality, etc., will not be delivered. Turnaround time for all final images are 7-14 Business Days.

I retain all copyright to the images and I deserve the right to display work on my platforms including my website, social media, and any other marketing materials .
